Each Team Member brings their own unique experiences, personal and professional, to the H.E.A.L family to better each client’s experience.
Patrick Brennan – Executive Director, Founder
As the Founder of H.E.A.L, Patrick brings his 10+ years of nonprofit experience. He has volunteered in the Hospitality and Public Relations departments of local affiliate Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, along with being a member of their major fundraising and events committee. H.E.A.L is personal for Patrick. A family member battled this disease for 10 years died during a relapse. He hopes this organization will help all those affected by addiction, including family and friends, to heal and build a healthier lifestyle.
Regina Medora – Development Director
Regina brings her working experience to H.E.A.L’s team, with a background in Hospitality and Event Planning. She graduated from Immaculata University with a degree in Public Relations & Journalism. H.E.A.L is personal for Regina, as she has lost two friends who struggled with this disease. She is striving to help H.E.A.L effectively execute its mission.
Andrea Topa – Program Director
A recent graduate of Cabrini University, Andrea has a background in Information Science and Technology. She hopes that H.E.A.L helps the community come together to bring guidance and healing to those reaching out for a steady hand.
Raul Sanchez – Rehabilitation Director
Raul is a Certified Recovery Specialist, bringing his experience in mental health, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to H.E.A.L’s team. He has worked for Philadelphia’s New Creation Rehabilitation Center and volunteered as an emergency medical technician. Currently, Raul is finishing up his degree in Psychology. He hopes to facilitate healthy coping to those brave enough to admit they need the help.
Kristen Welsh-Martin – Outreach Director
Kristen brings her years of personal experience with addiction. Her fire to help those affected comes from a personal losses of friends and family. Her experience will only add to the vision and mission of H.E.A.L. She hopes that everyone we help will spread the word about what we do.
Mallory Allen – Volunteer Art Therapist
Mallory was a board member and volunteer for the Arts of Snohomish in Washington state for several years. She has loved ones who have suffered from addiction and has been instrumental in their recovery process.
Katie Sonnie – Volunteer
Kathryn is a licensed Pastry Chef and is certified in Home-Economics education. She hopes to help H.E.A.L educate the community to end the stigma surrounding addiction.
